My top 10 free stock images for December 2017

Well it's the last month of the year, and only 3 days left at that! And this month I have really gotten in to my photography again in a big way.

I recently decided to upload my photos to free stock photography websites (Pexels and Unsplash). I'll explain more about that decision in another blog shortly, but suffice to say the impact of this decision has meant that I am really inspired to take more photos, and curate more photos. So with this new found enthusiasm and inspiration I decided to share my top 20 images from these two sites with you! Hopefully I can share the feeling....

In no particular order, because they are all beautiful and all really different...

I really like simple, minimal style, photography, and this one is right up there for me (plus I'm a huge fan of coffee - so the combo works really well!) Just so beautiful with the neutral colours, the teal blue, and the simple layout of the various coffee.

I find this image captivating. It makes me think of snowy winters, hot food, warm belly's and cosy homes. I've never had a white Christmas before, and this photo makes me want to experience it. I wonder what they are selling?

This delicious photo really grabbed me - how beautiful is the fruit? That awesome pinky red tone just makes me drool, and the white space really appeals to me. Plus the vertical alignment would work really well for pinterest images.

It's summer at Christmas time in Australia, so this image really resonated for me this month. It feels tropical and warm, and just makes me want to get away on a holiday!

Beautiful simplicity - again! I do really like white space, and flatlay / desk photography. I like images I could use on my blog or a website I am designing - and this one is right up there for me. Joanna has some beautifully simple and minimal images on Unsplash. Well worth a look.

I was of two minds about whether to include one of my own images! On the one hand it is kind of shameless promotion, but on the other hand I think it is really important to value your own work and like what you do! So in the end I included it. I just really like this little flower bud...

Another one full of that lovely white space that I just can't get enough of! I think these make great images for blogs and websites, and also makes me hungry!

I thought it fitting to start and end with coffee - since it is one of my passions! I really like the brightness and light captured in this image, and of course that lovely coffee machine ;)
