10 beautiful free stock photos for your blog or business

This month I thought I would share my favourite images for blogging. I personally like to try to use my own images for my blogs, but sometimes I haven't taken the exact image I'm looking for, or I might be really pushed for time, or I simply don't have enough images (if you are a super blogger and need fresh ones on the regular). So finding a beautiful image that I can use is really important -  and if it is also completely free for commercial use that is a total bonus! See my favourite blogging images for this month below...

You can no doubt see a bit of a pattern here - I like bright images that often feature some type of writing implement, like a pencil and paper or a laptop. I do like the portrait perspective for Pinterest, but the images are such high quality that you can easily use a landscape image and just crop it down to fit :) Here are my top 10 for this month, in no particular order.

I really like the light, soft colouring in this image. I think the flowers being the central focal point is so beautiful, and the palm poster in the background adds that little something extra.

I like the simplicity of this image - just a few key objects that work together really well. Plus I find sometimes having less in the background works well with blog images that have text over the top as it distract the reader.

The composition of this one is so beautiful and feminine! Perfect for a #bossbabe :) I also found this image recently in one of my favourite magazines - The Collective! So pretty.

Totally adore the bright freshness of this image - and again nice and simple for a beautiful backdrop. You can see my blog post where I used this image here

This photographer, STIL, has some amazing photos that I think would all work well for a blog. They are promoting their calendars and planners, but what's wrong with that!? Especially when they look so beautiful :)

I think this image would be really perfect for a blog about parties or organising an event. It's colourful, bright and fun. And while it is busy, I think it would still work really well for a blog post.

How beautiful and clean is this desk? Ahh makes me want to clean mine up and get rid of a lot of stuff! Nice and simple to work behind a blog post, especially something about work or a home office.

Another bright, fresh image that is simple enough to work behind text, but also beautiful enough to catch the attention of your reader. A prefect combination :)

Sometimes it is really great to have the human element in the photo, someone in the act of typing or writing, and for that this one is really great. I also really like the simple plant in the photo.

It's not wrong to include one of mine is it?! Haha! But really I think every time I pick my top 10 images (stay tuned - will be a monthly occurrence) I need to include my own images. Partly self promotion (if I'm honest) but also because I want to practice valuing my own work and being proud! And I don't really think there is anything wrong with that :)

Any thoughts? Do you use Unsplash? Let me know below :)
